The items added by the user are now registered in the shopping cart.

One of them is a standing desk costing $380 (approximately 60,400 yen).

Universal Cart tracks price changes from the moment an item is added to the cart and updates the displayed price in the cart accordingly. Users can use it to 'add items to their cart for now and purchase them when the price drops.'

Nike running shoes are currently out of stock.

However, they also check for stock availability in the same way.

Furthermore, it anticipates user needs, so if it senses that the user is trying to build their own PC, it will proactively detect the compatibility of parts and suggest the best options or alternatives.

Universal Cart supports the Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP), a common standard for AI agents to integrate with retail and payment systems, allowing users to pay via Google Pay from the cart or on the merchant's website. The payment function will be gradually made available at Nike, Sephora, Target, Ulta Beauty, Walmart, Wayfair, and Shopify merchants including Fenty and Steve Madden.
