Super Kigurumi Fight is a lighthearted yet violent event where people in mascot costumes wear balloons and use thumbtacks as weapons to pop them. This time, the fighters are 'Jashin-chan Impact,' 'Hoppe-chan,' 'Edamame Fairy Zundamon,' 'Pug Taro,' 'Fururun,' and 'Working Cat.' You can check out the flow of events from the fighters' entrance to the first match between Zundamon and Pug Taro in the article below.

The second match was Hoppe-chan vs. Shigoto Neko. Hoppe-chan's style involves wrapping balloons around her eyes.

His weapon is a long sword. He has high mobility in his lower body, but his range of motion in his arms is limited, making him a rather unpredictable fighter.

The working cat wears a balloon around its neck. Its weapon is a tennis racket. A sturdy helmet won't protect the balloon.

I recorded the match on video. The working cat is attacking with a 'Yosh!' pose.

The working cat popped two balloons right at the start of the match, making it a one-sided affair.

The working cat wins.

He's making a phone call somewhere to report his victory. There must have been some reason why he had to win.

He even showed us his victory cheer, 'Yosh!' The spectators joined in, creating a huge excitement.
The third match was Fururun vs. Jashin-chan Impact. Fururun was wielding a black, rod-shaped weapon. It's quite rare to see a local government's official character wielding a weapon.

Jashin-chan Impact wields a bladed weapon. It doesn't seem out of place for her to be holding a weapon. It really gives off the vibe of 'She's not just cute, she's strong.'

The match has begun. Jashin-chan Impact is surprisingly mobile and moves around very smoothly.
Swinging her weapon wildly, Jashin-chan popped two balloons in a row. Fururun wasn't to be outdone, and countered by popping one balloon.

Fururun charged up the balloon that had been blown away by the wind and cornered Jashin-chan Impact to within a hair's breadth of victory. However, in the end, Jashin-chan Impact won. They congratulated each other on their efforts.

The final round will feature Zundamon, Shigoto Neko, and Jashin-chan Impact, who have advanced through the preliminary rounds.

The fighters enter the arena.

Zundamon was toying with his opponents in the qualifiers, but he decided to get serious in the finals and requested a long weapon.

In the qualifying rounds, she used a table tennis racket, but in the finals, she ended up fighting with the black stick that Fururun had been using. Zundamon stared intently at the weapon. It seemed she wanted a stronger weapon.

Incidentally,

And so, the final match begins.

After bowing properly, the battle begins.

We also recorded the final match on video. It was a heated three-way battle.
The three players quickly close the gap as soon as the match begins.

After a fierce sword fight, Jashin-chan Impact is down to just one balloon, putting her in a precarious situation.

And then, Zundamon's tail fell off.

Even if a tail falls to the floor, the match continues. A no-holds-barred battle.

Even after losing its tail, Zundamon continued its relentless attack and popped all of Jashin-chan Impact's balloons.

Jashin-chan Impact, causing her to drop her weapon from the shock.

They've lost their balloons and weapons, but they won't stop attacking. They're berserkers.

Jashin-chan Impact, having been stopped by the referee, quietly retreats. From here, the Working Cat strikes a 'Yosh!' pose and unleashes a series of thrusting attacks.

What are you aiming for, working cat?

Zundamon's counterattack caused the last balloon of the working cat to pop, ending the match.

The winner is Zundamon. Zundamon won by losing its tail.

Despite winning, he stands there, stunned.

Prompted by everyone, Zundamon strikes a victory pose. It's

He also struck a pose for the audience on the right side.

He also showed the Miyamoto Musashi pose in the other direction. After demonstrating the pose in a total of three directions, the victory ceremony came to an end.

Everyone was smiling.

For some reason, Zundamon doesn't put his tail back down and continues to hold it in his hand.

It seems that the Super Kigurumi Fight will continue at future Machi★Asobi events. I can't wait for the next one!
