A game developed by the suspect in the assassination attempt on President Trump has been removed from sale on Steam after receiving a barrage of negative reviews.

On April 25, 2026, a shooting attempt occurred at a dinner party attended by President Donald Trump. It was later discovered that the suspect in the incident sold games on Steam, leading to a massive influx of reviews unrelated to the games themselves.

The incident occurred at the White House on the night of the 25th. It is reported that the suspect, Cole Thomas Allen, stormed the security checkpoint carrying a shotgun and a knife, leading to a shootout. One security officer was shot through a bulletproof vest, but his injuries are not life-threatening.

President Trump shared security camera footage from the venue, reporting, 'The Secret Service and law enforcement have done a fantastic job. They acted quickly and bravely. The gunman has been apprehended .'

It has been reported since the time of the incident that Thomas Allen worked as a teacher and game developer, and now a game he developed has been discovered on Steam.

The game in question is called 'Bohrdom.' The title is a play on the name of theoretical physicist Niels Bohr, and the game itself is an online multiplayer 'skill-based, non-violent asymmetrical fighting game.'

Since its release in 2018, Bohrdom had only received three reviews, but 134 new reviews were posted after the incident. Most reviewers had played for less than an hour, and many comments were linked to the incident, such as, 'A 10/10 shooter. Every penny you spend on this will be a bullet aimed at the White House,' and 'It's not fun at all and crashes frequently. The gameplay and graphics are like something from the last century. The developers' game development skills are as bad as the attempted presidential assassination.'

As of the time of writing, sales of Bohrdom have been suspended. It is unclear whether it was removed by Valve or by Allen's representatives. Technology media outlet PC Gamer pointed out, 'We wouldn't be surprised if Valve was behind the removal. There has been an increase in cases where adult games have been banned from Steam as a result of pressure from conservative groups through payment processors, and Valve seems to be taking a more active role in moderating Steam than ever before.'

Regarding reviews, all 134 newly posted reviews were deemed 'off-topic (irrelevant to the topic) review spam' and have been hidden by the settings. Valve defines off-topic review spam as 'a player posting a large number of reviews in a short period of time with the intention of lowering the game's review score.'
