'Samsung Galaxy S26/S26+/S26 Ultra' exterior review: The thickness has been further reduced to the 7mm range.

Samsung's third-generation AI phones, the ' Samsung Galaxy S26 ,' ' Samsung Galaxy S26+, ' and ' Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, ' which were

announced in February 2026, were released on Thursday, March 12th. I borrowed the Galaxy S26 series, which Samsung claims incorporates cutting-edge technology for comfortable use all day long, so I decided to try them out.

I lined up the three models facing backward. From left to right, we have the sky blue S26, the cobalt violet S26+, and the cobalt violet S26 Ultra. The S26+ and S26 Ultra appear to be slightly different colors, but this is due to lighting and they are the same color. Their dimensions are 149.6mm x 71.7mm x 7.2mm, 158.4mm x 75.8mm x 7.3mm, and 163.6mm x 78.1mm x 7.9mm respectively. The S26 and S26+ have three camera lenses, while the S26 Ultra has four.

This is what the front of the devices looks like. All three models have a Dynamic AMOLED 2X (organic EL) display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The S26 has a 6.3-inch screen with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 (FHD+). The S26+ has a 6.7-inch screen with a resolution of 3120 x 1440 (Quad HD+). The S26 Ultra has a 6.9-inch screen with a resolution of 3120 x 1440 (Quad HD+).

The bezels are extremely thin on all sides, making almost the entire visible area usable as part of the screen.

The right side of the device has volume buttons and a side button.

The top of the device. All three models have the same design. The two holes are the microphone and exhaust vent.

The left side of the device. There are no buttons.

The bottom of the device. On the S26 and S26+, the layout from left to right is speaker, USB Type-C port, microphone, and SIM card slot. The S26 Ultra has a different layout, with the SIM card slot, microphone, USB Type-C port, and speaker in that order, and the S Pen stored on the far right.
