Samsung's 'Galaxy S25 Ultra' has arrived, so here's a photo review
Samsung's smartphone ' Galaxy S25 Ultra ', which has features such as 'equipped with four rear cameras', 'built-in S Pen (stylus)', and 'equipped with Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy', will be released on Friday, February 14, 2025. I was able to borrow the Galaxy S25 Ultra prior to its release, so I first took a closer look at its appearance.

The outer box of the Galaxy S25 Ultra looks like this. The color lineup is 'Titanium Silver Blue', 'Titanium Black', 'Titanium Gray', 'Titanium White Silver', 'Titanium Jet Black', 'Titanium Jade Green', and 'Titanium Pink Gold'. This time, I borrowed 'Titanium Gray'.
The back of the box looks like this. The lid is secured in place with stickers on the top and bottom.
Tear the sticker off and peel it off.
When the lid was removed, the Galaxy S25 Ultra appeared.
The contents of the box look like this: From the left, there is the Galaxy S25 Ultra, a USB Type-C cable, a SIM card eject pin, and an instruction manual.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra had a black screen protector attached.
This is what it looks like when you peel off the protective sticker.
The screen type is 'Dynamic AMOLED 2X (organic EL)', the size is 6.9 inches, the resolution is 3120 x 1440 pixels, the refresh rate is 120Hz, and the number of colors is approximately 16 million.
The front camera is a pinhole type with approximately 12 megapixels.
The back has a smooth finish with low reflection.
The rear cameras are a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, a 200-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera.
On the left side when viewed from the back, there are volume adjustment buttons and a side button used to turn the device on.
Here's the other side. There are some different colored areas, but they're neither buttons nor a fingerprint sensor.
The bottom houses the SIM card slot, USB port, speaker, and S Pen.
If you push the S Pen in firmly, it will unlock and you can remove it.
This is the S Pen.
There are no buttons on the top.
The dimensions are 162.8mm high x 77.6mm wide x 8.2mm thick, and the weight is 218g.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra is scheduled to be released on Friday, February 14, 2025, and the prices at the Samsung online shop are 199,800 yen including tax for the 256GB model, 217,800 yen for the 512GB model, and 253,800 yen for the 1TB model. In addition, reservations can be made from Friday, January 31, 2025 at the Samsung online shop and various communication carriers.
