◆Benchmark test
To check the CPU processing performance of the Galaxy Tab S10+, Galaxy Tab S9+, Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, we ran the standard benchmark app Geekbench 6 .
The single-core and multi-core scores for the four models are as follows. MediaTek SoCs are often found in mid-range smartphones and tablets, but the Galaxy Tab S10 series with the Dimensity 9300+ has higher processing performance than the Galaxy Tab S9 series with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
Model | Galaxy Tab S10+ | Galaxy Tab S9+ | Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra | Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra |
---|---|---|---|---|
Single Core Score | 2155 | 2120 | 2207 | 2119 |
Multi-Core Score | 7234 | 5683 | 7339 | 5591 |
Next, try running ' AnTuTu Benchmark '.
The results of the AnTuTu Benchmark are as follows: The Galaxy Tab S10 series recorded higher scores than the Galaxy Tab S9 in all areas: CPU, GPU, memory, and UX.

◆ Battery life & battery charging time
To measure battery life, we played a long YouTube video on the Galaxy Tab S10+, Galaxy Tab S9+, Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra until the battery ran out. The volume was set to 50%, the screen brightness was set to maximum, and the Internet was connected via Wi-Fi. The time until the battery ran out was measured by taking a picture of the screen with a camera every minute and checking the time when the screen was turned off.
The battery life is as follows: The battery capacity of the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S9+ is 10090mAh, and the battery capacity of the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra is 11200mAh, so the difference in capacity is reflected in the results as it is. Looking at the same capacity, the Galaxy Tab S10+ lasts more than 30 minutes longer than the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, and the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra lasts 15 minutes longer than the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra.
Model | Galaxy Tab S10+ | Galaxy Tab S9+ | Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra | Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra |
---|---|---|---|---|
Battery Speed Hours | 7 hr 32 min | 7 hr 1 min | 8 hr 35 min | 8 hr 50 min |
I was also curious about the time it took to charge, so I measured the time it took for all four models to fully charge from 0% battery remaining. The charging adapter used was ADATA's ' APD-V140AC2-BK ', which supports USB PD 3.1, and the USB cable used was the E Core cable 'All-purpose cable (100W PD compatible cable 1m with dedicated stand)' which can be purchased at 100 yen shops.
The graph below shows the remaining battery power recorded every 10 minutes. The Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S9+, both with a battery capacity of 10090mAh, were able to be fully charged in 100 minutes. The charge rate per hour is similar, but the older model, the Galaxy Tab S9+, charges slightly faster.
For the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, both with a battery capacity of 11,200mAh, the charge time was almost identical, with a full charge taking 100 minutes.
Summary
After examining the performance of the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, the benchmark test showed that both the CPU and GPU scored higher than the previous generation model. MediaTek SoCs tend to be installed in mid-range devices, but the Dimensity 9300+ installed in the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra has higher performance than Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and is an undeniable performance as a flagship terminal. Also, since the performance difference between the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra is small, if you are unsure which tablet to choose, you can simply choose based on the screen size and battery life.
The Galaxy Tab S10+ is available on Amazon.co.jp for 189,327 yen for the 256GB model, and the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra is available for 221,327 yen for 256GB.
