'One of my team members told me that one of their teams was building Dara AI, and they were basically making a presentation for Dara AI in preparation for their presentation to me,' Khosrowshahi said during the podcast. 'I can imagine that by the time I get something, it's already prepared, and the slide decks are already polished and ready for the meeting. So they're using Dara AI to prepare.' He revealed that employees have created their own AI.
According to CEO Khosrowshahi, Uber Technologies' software engineers use AI in about 90% of their work, and about 30% of employees are 'power users.' Khosrowshahi also said, 'AI is building the bricks that go into the system, and it's also the architect of what the system should look like.'
Some have pointed out that ' AI has no impact on employment or productivity ,' but CEO Khosrowshahi said of AI, 'It's truly changing employee productivity in ways I've never seen before,' and said that AI is contributing to work efficiency.
