Wendy's testing underground robot delivery system for mobile orders
Wendy's concept is to lay a pipe underground to connect the Wendy's store kitchen and parking lot, and place an autonomous delivery robot in it to deliver food. A pickup portal will be installed at the ground level of the parking lot, and customers will pick up their food from the portal.
