According to information registered with the FCC and Indonesian certification authorities, ASUS has developed the 'ROG Ally 2' and has obtained certification from each authority. The ROG Ally 2 comes in two models, 'RC73X1' and 'RC73YA', the former of which is an Xbox-compliant black model, and the latter of which is a regular white model.
The black model features an Xbox-specific button on the top left of the console.

This model is likely to be Xbox's first portable gaming console, formerly known as 'Kennan,' and is expected to be officially announced at the Microsoft Build event on May 19, 2025.

The white model does not have any Xbox-specific buttons, but the shape is exactly the same as the black model.

However, the specs are different: the black model is equipped with AMD's 8-core Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor and 32GB of memory, while the white model is equipped with a 4-core Aeirth Plus processor and 16GB of memory. Although the black model is labeled as 32GB, it is actually configured as 64GB (2048MB x 32).

The grip is larger than that of the ROG Ally .

ASUS is expected to announce the ROG Ally 2 separately from Microsoft at Computex 2025, which will be held from May 20, 2025.
