According to what he said at the press conference, Son will invest $100 billion in America over the next four years and create 100,000 jobs. Son said, 'My confidence in the American economy has increased dramatically since Trump won the presidential election,' and 'Trump is a double-down president, and he has doubled his investment. My confidence in the American economy has doubled, so I have doubled my investment,' expressing his expectations for the growth of the American economy.

Trump also emphasized his trust in Son, saying, 'SoftBank promised to invest $50 billion (7.7 trillion yen) after the 2016 presidential election, and they actually kept their promise.'

During the press conference, Son made a joke, saying, 'In my discussions with Trump, he said, 'Masa, is doubling down enough? We need to aim higher,'' to which Trump responded by asking, 'Shall we make it $200 billion (about 30 trillion yen)?', causing laughter.

In response to an NHK interview after the press conference, Son said, 'We will make various AI-related investments, including AI data centers. We already have many group companies, but this will mean increasing and strengthening them. The world of generative AI is growing rapidly, so I am optimistic that Trump's positive initiatives will become even more active. The group has assets worth tens of trillions of yen and has various means of raising funds.'
