Kuzuru travels between another world and modern Japan, working both as a hero and a corporate slave. His hard-working side jobs aren't all bad, though. He gains strength and ideas from his work as a hero, and knowledge and inspiration from working at a game company, allowing him to fight as a fine warrior.
However, a great global crisis begins to strike Kuzuru, one that cannot be compared to any of the powerful enemies or difficult tasks they have faced so far...!

◆ Synopsis of 'Deathma 8 Part 1'
One day, Kuzuru, a hero from the world of 'Conam', is transported to a completely unfamiliar world, modern Japan, after being faced with a life-threatening situation as a lousy hero. After being picked up by a game company there, he leads a very tiring dual-career life: 'working as a corporate slave in modern Japan during the week, and returning to Conam to work as a hero on weekends.'
Kuzuru had gotten used to staying overnight at the company, fending off assassins from the Demon King's army that kept appearing one after another. But one day, he wakes up at the company and sees monsters on the news. Monsters that Kuzuru is used to seeing, but that shouldn't exist in 'this world'.
Further troubles arise before the confused Kuzuru. Flare, a member of the hero's party, falls ill with a serious illness that even healing magic cannot cure. The doctor diagnoses it as influenza, a disease that should not exist in Konam.
The trouble that has arisen is solvable by Kuzuru, who is familiar with both Konam and Japan. However, the confusion that is inexplicable remains. At that time, Kuzuru's boss, Valkyrie, approaches him in an unusually gentle tone, saying, 'I have a way to resolve this situation.' The mysteries of the world that are revealed could be a sign of the 'collapse of the world'...?
