◆ Size change

The Apple Watch Series 10 is quite thin, so you can wear it without discomfort even when paired with clothes that have tight cuffs. However, although there is a big difference compared to the Apple Watch from a few years ago, there is only a 1mm difference in thickness compared to the Apple Watch Series 9, so there was not much difference.

However, the constant display of the second hand is only supported by the new 'Reflection' and 'Flex' watch faces added to the Apple Watch Series 10, and the old watch faces cannot display the second hand at all times. For this reason, it is not possible to 'use the same watch face as the old model while always displaying the second hand.'
◆ Battery life
About two weeks after I started using the Apple Watch Series 10, I encountered a problem where the battery would drop to 0% in half a day. Immediately after the problem occurred, I suspected a hardware malfunction, but a few days later watchOS 11.0.1 was released to fix the battery issue.
With watchOS 11.0.1 installed, the Apple Watch Series 10 now has plenty of battery life, even when worn before going to bed at night to track sleep and then continued to be worn until around 8 p.m. the next day.
◆ Audio content can be played using the device's speaker
In the previous model, it was necessary to connect wireless earphones to play music or podcasts, but in the Apple Watch Series 10, you can now play audio content through the speaker of the main unit. However, in the four weeks of use, there was no time when I wanted to play audio from the Apple Watch Series 10. It is a mystery what kind of use Apple has in mind.

Summary
The Apple Watch Series 10 has a thinner body and is less uncomfortable to wear. Also, the S10 SiP chip is powerful, so there was no lag when using it. However, my honest impression is that there are few clear differences in functionality compared to the previous generation Apple Watch Series 9.
