The Apple Watch Series 10 will have the largest display ever on an Apple Watch.
The display is slightly larger than the Apple Watch Ultra 2.
Up to 75% more screen area than Apple Watch Series 3 and up to 30% more than Series 4, 5, 6 and SE.
This means you can make fonts larger while still seeing content easily, and apps like Messages, Mail, and News will have an extra line to display.
It's also easier to send messages, enter passcodes, and pause workouts.
The exterior design is now sleeker and softer.
Additionally, the front crystal of the Apple Watch Series 10 is made of durable Ion-X glass and is spacious when viewed from above.
Beneath the front crystal is Apple's first wide-viewing-angle OLED display, which the Apple Watch Series 10 claims is up to 40% brighter.
In always-on mode, the display updates once per second instead of once per minute.
A new dial design, 'Flux,' will also be added.
The new color 'Jet Black' for the Apple Watch Series 10 features a shiny black aluminum body. The case is made of a durable aluminum alloy and is polished with silica nanoparticles. It also has 30 stages of oxidation coating to bond organic pigments to the case at the molecular level.
In addition to jet black, the Apple Watch Series 10 will be available in rose gold and silver aluminum.
The Apple Watch Series 10 is 9.7mm thin, making it the thinnest Apple Watch ever and about 10% thinner than the Series 9.
In order to make the device thinner, internal modules such as speakers have been made smaller.
For the first time on Apple Watch, you'll be able to play music, podcasts and other media directly through the watch's speakers.
The back is made of metal, completely integrating the antenna and the case, combining the two layers into one, and is further combined with a waterproof layer that can withstand water pressure up to 50m, and also houses a highly efficient charging coil.
The Apple Watch Series 10 has the fastest charging time of any watch in its series, reaching an 80% charge in just 30 minutes.
Additionally, instead of stainless steel, a mirror-finished titanium case is also available.
The case is made from aerospace-grade titanium with a mirror finish and PVD coating, making it about 20% lighter than the stainless steel Series 9.
The titanium body comes in three colors: natural, gold, and slate gray.
Pre-orders for the Apple Watch Series 10 will begin on September 10 at 9 p.m., with the release date being September 20. The price starts at 59,800 yen (tax included) for the aluminum case model, and if you upgrade the case size from 42mm to 46mm, it will cost 5,000 yen more (tax included), and if you change from the GPS model to the GPS + cellular model, it will cost 16,000 yen more (tax included).
