'I wanted to become a dragon,' says Kiryu Kazuma (played by Takeuchi Ryoma).

The story is set in 1995. Kiryu was in action with his brother Akira Nishikiyama (played by Kento Kaku) and others.

Kiryu and his friends raid the game center and steal a large amount of cash.

However, the store that Kiryu and his men attacked was under the control of the Dojima Group.

Kazama Shintaro (played by Karasawa Toshiaki), who acts as a father figure to Kiryu and his friends, tells Kiryu that he can never escape the cross he is carrying on his back.

Kiryu takes part in underground fighting to settle the score for the incident.

The trailer also shows Kiryu and Nishikiyama joining the Dojima Group.

The year is 2005. An incident occurs in which members of the Tojo Clan, which controls the Kanto region, steal 10 billion yen of secret funds from the Omi Alliance in Kansai. Naturally, this leads to an outbreak of conflict between the Tojo Clan and the Omi Alliance.

Kiryu, who was released from prison on a special pardon, rushes to stop the conflict.

Also appearing is Goro Majima (played by Munetaka Aoki), nicknamed 'Shimano's Mad Dog.'

The setting for Kiryu's battle to prevent a conflict from breaking out is Kamurocho.

Kiryu fights in Kamurocho as a yakuza.

Nishikiyama also delivers a meaningful line: 'It was you who betrayed us brothers 10 years ago.'

The first three episodes of the drama 'Ryu ga Gotoku: Beyond the Game' will be available on Amazon Prime Video from October 25, 2024. The last three episodes will be available on November 1, 2024.
