'VIVE Focus Vision' has a 5K resolution of 2448 x 2448 pixels per eye, a total of 4896 x 2448 pixels, a refresh rate of 90Hz, and a viewing angle of up to 120 degrees. In addition, by connecting VIVE Focus Vision to a PC's graphics card via DisplayPort, it is possible to experience PCVR with a visually lossless refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
The processor is Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2. The memory is 12GB, the storage is 128GB, and it can be expanded up to 2TB with a microSD card. In addition, infrared sensors and four cameras enhance 26-point hand tracking, allowing VR/MR operation even in dimly lit places. The pass-through image from the 16MP dual camera is full color, and the built-in eye tracking function can automatically adjust the IPD (interpupillary distance).
'VIVE Focus Vision offers the best of both worlds: exceptional standalone capabilities and DisplayPort mode support for a lossless visual PC VR experience, giving PC gamers the same high-end headset used in VR arcades at home,' said Shen Yi , Global Head of Product, HTC VIVE. 'We're taking it all to the next level with built-in eye tracking, stereo color pass-through cameras for depth-corrected mixed reality, and infrared sensors for enhanced hand tracking in low light.'
VIVE Focus Vision is based on the VIVE Focus 3, which was released in 2021 and has been well received, but has been significantly updated in terms of visual and usability, improving compatibility with multiple users and headset sharing.

In addition, since it has a built-in sub-battery, it can operate for 20 minutes alone even when changing the battery, so the XR experience will not be interrupted.
VIVE Focus Vision will be available for pre-order until October 17, 2024, and pre-orderers will receive a free VIVE Wired Streaming Kit for DisplayPort worth $149 (approximately 21,400 yen). In addition, you can choose one of three popular game bundles for free.
The VIVE Focus Vision is priced at $999 (approx. 143,200 yen) for the consumer edition and $1,299 (approx. 186,200 yen) for the enterprise edition. A Japanese version page is also available, but no information on prices has been posted yet.
