Kuo predicted that the iPhone 17 Pro Max, the high-end model in the iPhone 17 series, will have better RAM and cooling system than other models, including the iPhone 17 Pro. Kuo's predictions are as follows:

Apple Intelligence , a personal AI announced by Apple in June 2024, is scheduled to be introduced in iOS 18 or later, but since Apple Intelligence requires a minimum of 8GB of RAM, only the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max are supported in the iPhone 15 series. In the iPhone 16 series, the RAM of all models will be increased to 8GB, but the iPhone 17 Pro Max will be equipped with 12GB of RAM, which may enable even more powerful AI functions. Meanwhile, the other iPhone 17/17 Air/17 Pro will remain at 8GB, which will lead to differentiation between high-end models and other models.
