In exchange, development plans are underway for 'Puffin,' an MR glass that is characterized by its light weight.

Most VR, AR, and MR devices of this type are large and secured by bands that support the sides and top of the head, but the Puffin weighs less than 110g, making it significantly lighter than other devices.

The weight reduction is apparently achieved by housing the battery and computing unit all in an external pack connected to the terminal.

In addition, the appearance of the device itself will be sleek thanks to the use of pancake lenses.
