The Ascend 910C is an evolved version of the Ascend 910B, and according to Huawei, it has performance comparable to NVIDIA's H100.

NVIDIA is competing with the 'H20' chip, which has performance limited to export to China, but since the performance of the H20 does not meet the needs, it is reported that they are developing and exporting a flagship AI chip for China, the 'B20,' which has twice the performance of the H20.

If the Ascend 910C really does have performance comparable to the H100, then even the B20 will fall short, meaning NVIDIA will be forced into a tough battle in the Chinese market.
