Introducing the AI app 'Deep-Live-Cam' that allows you to impersonate someone else and live stream with just one photo, overwriting the face shown on the webcam in real time



Generally, creating deepfake videos requires a large number of sample images and long processing times. However, the open source ' Deep-Live-Cam ' can generate fake videos in real time with just one image.

Using Deep-Live-Cam is very simple, just select an image of the person you want to impersonate and click 'Live.' In the example below, we're using the face of Elon Musk.



When you click 'Live,' a video with the face shown on the webcam replaced with Elon Musk's face will appear on the screen. After that, you can use an app such as OBS to record or live stream the video. If you click on the image below to check the animation, you can see that you can generate fake video without any discomfort even if you move your face or change the direction of the lighting.

Deep-Live-Cam can run on CPUs and also supports GPU acceleration via CUDA, Core ML, DirectML and OpenVINO, and also includes filters to avoid generating nudity and war-related content.
