Amuse 2.0 Beta is an image generation AI developed in partnership between AMD and New Zealand-based AI technology company TensorStack, and is optimized for the target processor. AMD introduced it as 'easy to install, hassle-free, and easy to use.'

According to AMD, Amuse 2.0 Beta works offline without any dependencies, and can generate images from text (Text To Image), as well as from hand-drawn images (Paint To Image), and from images (Image To Image). In addition, it also implements a super-resolution function using AMD's AI architecture '

XDNA '. When the super-resolution function is executed, the image generated on a 512x512 canvas is upscaled to 1024x1024. Amuse 2.0 Beta is based on Stable Diffusion.

The recommended system specifications are Ryzen AI 300 series with 24GB or more RAM, or AMD Ryzen 8040 series with 32GB RAM, or Radeon RX 7000 series. XDNA super resolution is only supported by the Ryzen AI 300 series and Ryzen 8000 series.

AMD said, 'This is a beta release and is experimental software. As such, it may contain bugs, cause an unstable user experience, or result in unintended behavior.'
