The Galaxy Ring's detailed specifications have now been revealed. According to the announcement, the Galaxy Ring is compatible with Galaxy AI and can be integrated with Samsung's healthcare app, Samsung Health, to provide 24-hour health management.

The functions can be broadly divided into three categories: sleep analysis, heart rate monitoring, and fitness tracking.

While you sleep, you can use the 'sleep AI algorithm' to analyze the quality of your sleep based on your body movements and heart rate while you sleep. Women can also use the 'menstrual cycle tracking' feature to accurately track their menstrual cycle by monitoring their skin temperature at night.

In addition, the 'Heart Rate Alert' feature constantly monitors the health of your heart based on your heart rate data. If it detects an abnormally high or low heart rate, it will immediately send you a real-time notification via the Samsung Health app. There is also a 'Live Heart Rate Check' feature that provides more detailed data, such as your heart rate per minute.

In addition, the watch supports daily activities with 'Auto Workout Detection,' which automatically tracks walking and running, and 'Inactive Alert,' which reminds you of your fitness habits. It also has the Galaxy AI function 'Energy Score,' which improves your health by scoring your physical condition, and 'Wellness Tips,' which provides comprehensive data on all areas of health and personalized messages that reflect your personal preferences.

The ring is designed to work with Galaxy smartphones, and users can use the Galaxy Ring's Gestures to take photos or stop alarms using their smartphone. Users can also check the location of their Galaxy Ring from their Galaxy smartphone via Samsung Find.

The Galaxy Ring weighs just 2.3-3.0g, so you can wear it all day without it bothering you, and it has a battery life of up to 7 days, so you can use it continuously for a week. It comes in three colors: black, silver, and gold, and users can find the size that suits them with nine sizing kits.

At the time of writing, it is unclear whether the product will be released in Japan. On the Amazon.com page , the release date is announced to be July 24, 2024, with a price of $399.99.
