Niconico Manga is a manga distribution service where you can read works published in various manga magazines and works posted by users. It originated from the limited-time project ' Let's draw manga on Niconico ' that started in August 2010 on Niconico Seiga, a service related to Niconico Video.

After that, Nico Nico Seiga was renewed in November 2011, and the name was changed to 'Nico Nico Manga'. However, in March 2012, it was renewed again and the general name was changed to 'Manga' within 'Nico Nico Seiga', and the official serialized works were called 'Nico Nico Manga (Official)'.

In 2015, the Android and iOS app 'Nico Nico Manga' was released.

Due to this history, the URL was 'seiga.nicovideo.jp/manga' for a long time, and it was a service within 'Nico Nico Seiga,' a sub-content of 'Nico Nico Douga.' However, with this revival, it has been separated from Nico Nico Seiga and becomes 'manga.nicovideo.jp.'

Although the free episodes are now available to view, the service has not yet been fully restored, as the top priority of the restoration work is to make the manga available for viewing.

As a result, it is not possible to view the content from the app, but users are being urged to leave the app on rather than uninstalling it, as this may affect the ability to restore information such as favorite registration information, owned coins, and purchased episodes.
