The Snapdragon X Elite is an SoC released for Windows, but at the Embedded Open Source Summit 2024 held in April 2024, Qualcomm explained its efforts to make the Snapdragon X Elite available for Linux.
In response to this trend, TUXEDO Computers announced a prototype of a Linux laptop equipped with Snapdragon X Elite at COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2024 .
According to the news site TechPowerUp, the exterior is made of all aluminum and weighs 1.36 kg. The screen size is 14 inches, the resolution is 2560 pixels x 1600 pixels 16:10, the maximum brightness is 400 nits, and the sRGB coverage is 100%. The memory is 32 GB and it has an M.2-2280 Gen4 slot for storage. The battery is 50 Wh, and the input and output terminals are HDMI, USB Type-A, USB Type-C (USB4), and 3.5 mm earphone jack.

According to news site Computer Base, the prototype had Debian installed, but was stuck in a loop and unable to boot.
