ASUS's 'XG Mobile' series is a portable eGPU dock that was released in 2021, but previous models required a proprietary cable and port designed specifically to connect to a PC.

The newly announced 2025 ROG XG Mobile supports Thunderbolt 5, which provides 80Gbps of bidirectional bandwidth, making it compatible with a wide range of devices.
