A new feature called 'Training Load' is introduced in watchOS 11.
'Training Load' is a feature that measures how the intensity and duration of workouts affect the user's body over the long term. Users can check the strain of their workouts over the past 7 days compared to the previous 28 days on their Apple Watch.
To measure intensity, a new Effort rating is available after each workout, recording how difficult that workout was on a scale of 1 to 10.
Additionally, Apple Fitness+ has been redesigned in iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and tvOS 18 for greater customizability.
And the 'Vitals' app will be added to watchOS 11. Users can quickly check key health indicators and receive notifications when two or more indicators deviate from their normal range, giving them a better understanding of their health status.
watchOS 11 supports Tap to Cash, which allows you to send and receive Apple Cash just by holding your phone over your device.
The new Double Tap API further expands the possibilities of wrist gestures.
Developers will also be able to incorporate relevant cues, such as the time and date, to surface important information from their apps at the optimal time in Smart Stacks, and will be able to add features like interactivity to widgets.
'Translation' app that can recognize voice and translate on Apple Watch
Just input your voice and it will translate on the spot.
The 'Photo' watch face uses machine learning to automatically select photos to display on the dial, and its unique algorithm optimizes the subject's position within the frame to create a sense of depth and find the best composition.
This is watchOS 11.
