A long trailer video of the live-action version of 'Super Electromagnetic Machine Voltes V' that pays tribute to the original work has been released - GIGAZINE

There was hope that it would be broadcast or streamed in some form in Japan, but it has been revealed that staff in the Philippines have re-edited the show for Japan, adding scenes that were not included in the Philippine version, to create a new 'Chodenji Edited Version.'

A video commentary from director Mark A. Reyes has also been released.

In addition to the subtitled version, a dubbed version will also be produced. Since Osamu Ichikawa, who played Prince Heinel, the sworn rival and sworn enemy of the Boisan team , passed away in 2009 , and several other original cast members have passed away, it is interesting to see what kind of dubbing will be used.

There are also plans to release the original version in Japan, so the opportunity to enjoy the entire length of this drama may be just around the corner.

By the way, in Japan, the official name of the game is 'Voltes V Legacy', with a 'V' instead of 'Ⅴ (Roman numeral 5)'.
