◆Synopsis
For some reason, Kuzuru, a useless hero, was working at a Japanese game company. There are no demon kings or monsters here. Instead, there is a pile of work, a blank-eyed colleague, and a boss who is scarier than the monsters...huh? But from here, Kuzuru's troubles develop into a hectic double life of 'working on weekdays and exterminating monsters on weekends.'
The episode 'Deathma 0.5' is a spin-off that depicts the small moments of Kuzuru, who lives a double life. In 'Deathma 2.5', Kuzuru is too busy going back and forth between being a corporate slave and a hero to prepare a present for his friend Fallon, who has just celebrated her birthday... Will he be able to overcome this crisis?
There is no peace for the busy part-time hero.

◆ Character introduction and synopsis of 'Deathma 2.5'
'Deathma 2.5' is a short episode that can be enjoyed even if you haven't seen the main story, but if you read the main story and get to know the characters well, you will have a deeper understanding of the work and love for the characters. So, I will explain what kind of characters the four people who appear in 'Deathma 2.5' are.
The protagonist, Kuzuru , was chosen to be the 'Hero' and savior of Konam, a world overrun with monsters, but he was a timid and weak-willed hero. However, he ended up working at a Japanese game company by chance, and as a result of being trained both physically and mentally as a corporate slave, he began a very busy life of working multiple jobs, working overtime on weekdays and putting his life on the line as a hero on weekends.
The reason why Kuzuru, a lousy hero, was able to continue his work as a hero was because he had three excellent companions. One of them, Flare , is a bit foul-mouthed and a little violent, but a reliable in-fighter. He has known Kuzuru since childhood, and although he can be harsh on Kuzuru, who is a complete failure, that is the flip side of his love and trust... I think. As an aside, when he fights, he grows animal-like ears on the top of his head.
The cool magician Ecclell is harsher towards Kuzuru than Flare, but on the other hand, he must be even more affectionate. Although he doesn't show it much on his face, it's clear from every scene that he loves all the members of the hero's party very much.
And then there's Faron , the priestess who is also the main character of 'Deathma 2.5'. Faron is the only one who was kind to the lousy hero Kuzuru, and because she is older than the other three, everyone loves her like a little sister.
'Deathma 2.5' is Fallon's birthday party. After living a tough life fighting to get their hometown back after it was taken over by monsters, they finally get a brief moment of peace. However, Kuzuru is too busy to prepare a present for Fallon, and their peaceful time comes to an end...
