◆What is the story of 'The Part-Time Life of a Hero and a Corporate Slave'?
Kuzuru, the protagonist of 'The Part-Time Life of a Hero and a Corporate Slave,' is a hero in the world of 'Konam.' However, the name of the hero Kuzuru was known as 'a cowardly and incompetent hero.' Adventures are tiring, monsters are scary, and companions are strict. Still, with the help of his companions, he managed to make it as a hero in name only.

One day, the hero's party was attacked by a powerful assassin from the Demon King's army, the Dullahan, and suffered a crushing defeat. Kuzuru, who was unable to even fight, seemed to disappear in the Dullahan's attack.

However, Kuzuru wakes up in a strange world. He is confused by the unfamiliar scenery and unfamiliar people, but a woman calls out to him.

The woman who approached Kuzuru, saying that he was cosplaying as a hero, turned out to be an executive at a certain game company. With nowhere else to go, Kuzuru accepted her invitation, and as a result, he ended up joining an extremely exploitative company that he could not escape from.

After that, Kuzuru was able to return to Konam, but the work he had left at the company did not disappear. As a result, Kuzuru was forced to lead a very difficult double life: 'an extremely black company employee on weekdays, and a hero who risks his life to fight monsters on weekends.'

Working both as a hero and a corporate slave is tough, but it seems to have some advantages. The physical and mental strength he develops as a corporate slave is the driving force behind his fight against monsters. The experience and knowledge he gains as a hero are the ideas and imagination he needs to create games. Their respective experience levels influence each other, and Kuzuru becomes the strongest hero and the strongest corporate slave...or so he should.

Kuzuru's final goal can be broadly divided into four. The first is to complete the major game that the company that he was picked up by is making. He cannot return to his hometown until he completes the game he is currently making.

The second is to reclaim his hometown, which has been taken over by monsters. To do so, he must defeat not only weak monsters, but also his arch enemy, the Dullahan.

Thirdly, the world of Konam cannot be saved unless he defeats the 'Demon King' who is after Kuzuru. Kuzuru has been trained as a corporate slave and has become a somewhat decent hero. But will he be able to reach the Demon King? Finally, the fourth goal, 'Kuzuru's final goal,' will be revealed in the final chapter, along with many circumstances that even Kuzuru does not know yet. We hope you will enjoy the series.

In addition to the main story, we will also be publishing a spin-off episode with an original story written by the original author and illustrated by manga artist

Moto Morino . Please look forward to this as well.

◆Pay attention here! Episode highlights and characters
In the second episode of 'The Part-Time Life of a Hero and Corporate Slave,' Kuzuru is brought back by his companions and resumes his work as a hero for the first time in six months.

He is soon surrounded by a swarm of monsters called 'Tasks' and their superior species, 'Maltas.' Up until now, Kuzuru has been scared and hidden away, making him a useless fighting force, but perhaps thanks to the mental strength he gained from being overworked as a corporate slave, he now faces the monsters without fear.

The benefits of being a part-time hero aren't just physical and mental growth. Kuzuru was bad at studying magic, but by combining it with the programming knowledge he was forced to learn, he was able to use it well, even though it was difficult. In this way, one of the highlights of the story is how the experience of an office worker makes him a hero, and the experience of the hero makes him a worker.

And the chance for revenge comes soon. Kuzuru reunites with his nemesis, the Dullahan, but he won't be so worn out that he can't fight like he was then. The conclusion of this fateful battle will be depicted in episodes 2 and 3, so keep an eye out for that too.

Another point of interest is the uniqueness of the main character, Kuzuru. Basically, he struggles with his dual-career life and is made to cry by his tyrannical boss and violent coworkers, but it seems that his bad character from his days as a useless hero remains in his nature. The following episode is when Compra, a top executive of the Demon King's army, comes to tempt Kuzuru to join the Demon King's army. As a hero, you would expect him to flatly refuse an invitation from a monster, but Kuzuru is a former useless hero who is too weak to sweet talk. Will he be able to resist temptation and stick to justice?

Furthermore, the episodes about the Hero and Corporate Slave's part-time job are full of crazy and hilarious moments, such as when assassins from the Demon King's army come to the company and try to disrupt Kuzuul's work, when an enemy appears that Kuzuul can never defeat so he uses his work experience to try to make a 'contract' with a summoned beast, and when he is so busy that he is told that he only has a little time left to live.

Another recommended point is the adorable characters. The three below are Kuzuru's companions in Konam: on the left is Faron, a genius girl who serves as the only priest who is kind to Kuzuru; in the center is Ecrel, a wizard who is strict but kind to Kuzuru; and on the right is Flare, a fighter who grows animal ears when in battle.

The boss of the game company who picked up Kuzuru and suggested that he work part-time, claims to be the 'heroine' of the monsters that appear at the company and are pampered. 'The Part-Time Life of a Hero and a Corporate Slave' has about half the episodes set at the company and half at Konam, but she is basically the main character on the company side. However, since she is a tyrannical boss to Kuzuru, she is often the 'enemy'.

In addition to the succubus (top left of the image) who serves the Demon King and interferes with Kuzuul's work, the spirit Ifrog (top right) summoned by summoning magic, and Compra, a top executive of the Demon King's army (bottom left), be sure to also pay attention to the exploits of Kuzuul's company colleagues (bottom right) who get injured and fight alongside him.
