Battery manufacturer CATL unveils LFP battery with 1,000km range on a single charge
CATL, one of the world's largest battery manufacturers that deals with batteries for EVs, has announced the ultra-fast charging battery ' Shenxing Plus ', an improved version of the fast charging battery 'Shenxing'. With a charging speed of '1 km can be driven with 1 second of charging', the range exceeds 1000 km.

Six months later, they announced the new 'Shenxing Plus,' which has a range of 1,000 km with 4C ultra-fast charging. The '4C' stands for the C rate , which indicates the charging and discharging speed, and indicates that it can be charged and discharged at a high output. In addition to the long range, it can also achieve a range of 600 km with just 10 minutes of charging.
In addition, CATL has begun building the 'Shenxing Superfast Charging Network' to build China's largest ultra-fast charging service platform, leveraging the strengths of Shenxing Plus.
The release date of Shenxing Plus has not yet been decided.
