Reddit user Asleep-Tumbleweed-99 posted that he found an Xbox 360 cabinet at the dentist. The cabinet was capable of playing Doritos Crash Course 2, released for the Xbox 360 in 2013, with a scoreboard displayed on another screen. However, Asleep-Tumbleweed-99 wrote, 'It was set up for small children who come to the dentist, so I couldn't play it because I'm almost 30 years old. I didn't want to come across as a creepy adult (lol),' so it seems he didn't actually play the game.

Below is the appearance of the Xbox 360 case posted by Asleep-Tumbleweed-99. Blue, green, and purple displays are installed on a yellow cylinder, and two Xbox 360 controllers extend from each display.

In response to this post, Reddit users commented with comments such as, 'I have fond memories of these types of cabinets. When I was a kid, restaurants had the Nintendo GameCube and Nintendo 64 cabinets,' 'I was born in 1995, so I remember the Nintendo GameCube version well,' and 'It reminds me of the Nintendo 6 cabinet at McDonald's.'

He also commented, 'I'm sure this is a modified McDonald's Nintendo 64 cabinet.' The appearance of this 'McDonald's Nintendo 64 cabinet' is as follows, and it is characterized by the McDonald's logo on the top. It was installed in the early 2000s, and there is also a Nintendo GameCube version. Gamers talk about their memories of McDonald's Nintendo 64 cabinets, such as 'I bought food at McDonald's and played with this, which was the best moment,' 'I left the sticky controller as it was,' and 'I discovered Smash Bros. with this as a child.'

The console that Asleep-Tumbleweed-99 came across at the dentist did not have the McDonald's logo on it, so it was assumed to be something the dentist had modified themselves. However, when overseas games media Kotaku investigated, they found that it looked very similar to a unit called ' Euro Metal ' made by KidzPace , which combines a display and game console for children and is installed in restaurants, hospitals, hotels, etc.

Further investigation revealed that the Xbox 360 console that KidzPace once sold, called 'Carousel,' was the same one that was installed at the dentist's office. When Kotaku reached out to KidzPace, they told us that Carousel is no longer on sale.

Kotaku points out that 'This Carousel may be a reused frame from a Nintendo 64 machine installed at McDonald's, because McDonald's Nintendo 64 machines were manufactured by KidzPace. KidzPace still manufactures game machines for major fast food chains.'
