I was shown CyberConnect2's third new base in Japan, the Osaka studio.

Cyber Connect Two , a game company known for developing games such as the `` Fuga Senjou'' series, ``Demon Slayer: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba : Hinokami Kepputan,'' and ``NARUTO x BORUTO Ultimate Storm Connections,'' will open a new Osaka studio in February 2024. Since the studio has opened, I was given a look inside the studio.

Arrived at the floor where Cyber Connect Two Osaka Studio is located.

There was a large company logo at the entrance, and packages released in the past were displayed. There is an entrance to the conference room in front of you, so you can enter the conference room without passing through the office.

On the right hand side were the entrances to the office and the entrance to the sound room.

The office space is located next to Hiroshi Matsuyama, CEO of CyberConnect2, who showed us around the studio. The studio will open in February 2024, and will initially start with about 10 people including development members and general affairs staff. Recruitment activities are still starting, but they say they are aiming to expand to 80 people in three years, so desks have already been lined up in the back, and power supplies and cables have been prepared.

Mr. Matsuyama stands in front of his desk. At the moment, we are using two blocks of desks.

Behind the unused desk is a trial table that was used as a space to play Cyber Connect Two games at the opening party. The room behind the shelf is said to be a storage room or server room.

A prepared desk awaits your new companion.

Looking back from the back of the room.

The same policy was followed at the Fukuoka studio, which had a capacity of 200 people, to gather members on one floor.

A network relay rack that covers a vast floor.

Mr. Matsuyama stands at his desk. The reason why all the desks are standing desks is because there are cases where it is easier to concentrate when working standing up, and also because staff come from overseas and have a variety of body sizes, so it would be better to be able to make detailed adjustments. Apparently there is.

A large hanger space along the wall.

A handy vacuum cleaner propped up. At CyberConnect2, there is a culture of ``cleaning our own offices ourselves,'' and we vacuum them after work.

Relaxation room adjacent to office space.

Similar to Fukuoka Studio, we have an in-house library that reflects Mr. Matsuyama's policy of ``Of course we should know about the works that everyone is watching and reading.'' It is said that the number will continue to increase in the future. On the shelf on the right hand side, there were books and video software related to the games developed by CyberConnect2 in the past. A projector and screen are also installed, and screenings are sometimes held.

Perhaps because the relaxation room is not always staffed, a robot vacuum cleaner was on standby.

A sound room that can be accessed from both the office space and the entrance.

We also have a recording studio, which allows for voice recording and distribution.

And a conference room.

Items from past works were also displayed here.

At this new studio, we spoke with President and Representative Director Hiroshi Matsuyama for the first time in 12 years.
