Review of ``Greedland'', a Vansaba-based omnidirectional STG game that continues to fight as a warrior on a remote planet by overwhelming the enemies that are approaching from all directions with tremendous force, strengthening equipment, and continuing to fight as a warrior on a remote planet.

Greedland , a roguelike STG where you play as a mercenary exploring a remote planet and survive a limited time while defeating approaching enemies, is available on Steam. I heard that it's an omnidirectional shooter that you can enjoy like `

`Vampire Survivors ,'' so I actually tried it out.

Start 'Greedland'. Select 'START GAME'.

The main character is a mercenary whose purpose is to exterminate monsters nesting on a remote planet that needs to be developed.

The game has two modes: automatic mode, where you shoot automatically, and manual mode, where you control all shooting yourself. This time, select 'Auto mode'.

Below is where I landed on the planet. The transport ship has 10 minutes to arrive and the player must survive until then.

You can understand what kind of game 'Greedland' is by watching the movie below.

Monsters will appear and attack the player. Collect experience points by collecting green crystals that drop when you defeat monsters.

When you accumulate more than a certain amount of experience points, you level up. You can strengthen your equipment and status.

Players have skills set to give them an advantage in battle. In the following cases, two active skills, 'Dash', which are unique to the activation armor, and 'Ice Link', which serves as air support, can be used.

'Ice Rink' is an aerial support skill that instantly freezes the surrounding area and temporarily stops approaching monsters. However, once you use it, you will not be able to use it for more than 10 seconds, so be careful.

Also, after a certain amount of time, powerful monsters will appear.

In the movie below, you can see how to fight this large monster.

By defeating this monster, you can get a 'core chip' that allows you to power up more powerfully.

After a certain period of time, a transport ship will arrive to pick you up. As you can see from the movie below, the monsters around you are wiped out and the game is cleared when you board the transport ship.

After clearing the mission, a briefing screen will appear. Here, you can strengthen your equipment by investing in the G crystals and gems displayed at the top right of the screen.

However, to strengthen your equipment, you need to raise your rank. In other words, if you don't get promoted by completing a lot of tasks, you won't be able to strengthen yourself.

You can check your rank on the 'Mission' tab screen. You start as an apprentice and can clear the mission by completing the missions displayed at the bottom. You can also skip missions by paying G-crystals to 'buy the chief.' G crystals drop on the map during the game, so if you see them, you should collect them.

Also, G crystals and gems can be obtained by completing 'missions'. The repertoire of missions to accomplish is wide-ranging, so if you look at them from time to time and find something you think you can aim for next, you can get it more efficiently.

You can level up each of your own 'activation armors' that can be selected from the equipment part, and if you like the design of the activation armor, you can strengthen it and use it repeatedly. You can also.

In addition to strengthening your equipment, you can also obtain new weapons with G-crystals and gems.

Each ``main weapon'' also has a proper visual, so if you think ``This effect is flashy and nice while playing'' other than the specs, you can strengthen that weapon to the fullest and make it unrivaled. I am.

The same goes for 'auxiliary equipment'. In addition to having items that are much stronger than the main weapons, there are also some flashy items that make you wonder, ``This is what the explanation of this equipment means visually!''

There are various types of 'air support', and you should find one that suits your play style.

Furthermore, the 'chips' that determine the player's movements and status can be strengthened with G crystals and gems, or new ones can be obtained. Another feature of Greedland is that you can customize the chips to suit your play style.

There are all kinds of reinforcements using chips, and you can fulfill your wish of 'I want to strengthen this part and create a completely broken build.' Since the chip can be removed later, it is easier to achieve the ``ideal play'' by trial and error with various combinations.

The play data is aggregated in this way, and you can look back on how many enemies you have defeated so far.

You can make new sorties from the 'map'. The fields are ``forest area'', ``desert area'', and ``ice field area'', but only the ``forest area'' can be explored in the early stages. As you progress through the game, more fields will become available for you to explore.

There are multiple areas within the field. In addition, by choosing the time of day and challenge item to sortie, you can increase the rewards such as G crystals that you can get. This time, select the time zone as 'Twilight' and click 'Start'.

As seen in the movie below, monsters are stronger at twilight than during the day, and the number of monsters that appear will clearly increase.

During the game, you can obtain auxiliary equipment by leveling up. It is an additional firearm that supports shooting with the player's main weapon, but if you level it up to the limit, the auxiliary equipment will evolve into a higher-level firearm. For example, below is where the Vulcan cannon, which fires additionally, has evolved into the 'Heavy Vulcan cannon'.

A blue bit will appear next to the player and will sweep them all at once.

If you play with the time zone set to night, the monsters will be stronger than at twilight.

In front of the high attack power and overwhelming amount of material, the player's HP will be rapidly reduced.

The following movie shows the place where the approaching monster has nothing to do and is defeated. However, even if you are defeated, you will receive a reward, so you can use this reward to strengthen your equipment and chips and try again.

In addition, in 'Options', you can select 'green' or no display other than red from 'Blood expression', so expressions other than 'bloody' are also possible. Also, the current PC environment is displayed at the bottom left.

Greedland is a game similar to ``Vampire Survivors'' where you operate a player who shoots automatically and survives for a certain amount of time. The time limit is 10 minutes, which is shorter than Vampire Survivors, so you can play quickly and at a good pace. In addition, there is a big element of developing your own player, such as customizing chips, strengthening weapons, and stepping up in ranks, so the ability to train the player to your liking as you progress through the game is also a big appeal. In addition, shooting in Greedland can be easily switched between manual and automatic within the game, so it can be played as a shooting game that requires more technique and reflexes, making it enjoyable for those looking for a more challenging play. .

Greedland is available on Steam. A demo version is also available for free, so we recommend running it once and checking it out to see if it actually works properly on your PC. The official version can be purchased for 1300 yen including tax.
