Fighting game characters seen at Wonder Festival 2024 [Winter] such as Jamie and Ken from 'Street Fighter 6' and Bridget from 'Guilty Gear Strive'

At

Wonder Festival 2024 [Winter] held on Sunday, February 11, 2024, not only original figures but also many anime, manga, and game figures were on sale. I saw figures of characters appearing in fighting games such as `` Street Fighter 6 '' and the `` GUILTY GEAR' ' series, which have sold over 3 million copies worldwide, at the Wonder Festival 2024 [Winter] venue.

First I visited the 5-hole 5-17-13 'HABOOTH' booth and found a Jamie figure. The prototype is habu Taro .

In the game, Jamie shows a fighting style similar to

Drunken Fist , where he drinks medicinal water in a gourd to increase his level and strengthen himself. She has a distinctive stance, cool, long eyes, and a slightly reddish eyeshadow, perhaps because she is from Hong Kong. In addition, the swaying of the aglets extending from the neck of the outerwear and the characteristic bangs are recreated as they flow with Jamie's dance-like movements.

The muscles on his neck and the hand position that allows him to ``end the drama'' on his opponent's throat have all been faithfully recreated, creating a statue that is both sexy and reminiscent of Jamie's movements.

Next to them are deformed Luke and Jamie. If you look closely, you can see a gourd containing medicinal water and Luke's fighting gloves behind Luke. It is very cutely deformed, and although it is a fighting game character, it has a heartwarming atmosphere.

At the ``Omura Juliet Camera'' in Hall 2, 2-12-05, a Ken figure from Street Fighter 6 was on display. The prototype is Kazuki Matsu .

In Street Fighter 6, Ken gets caught up in a conspiracy and is forced out of his position at the top of a large conglomerate, and continues to live a homeless life. Her tattered coat and messy hair have been recreated.

The motif is Ken's victory pose. It's a pose that you'll see quite a lot while playing Street Fighter 6, so it can be said that the figure is more familiar to you as a player.

Also on display was the Blanka-chan doll that Blanka throws in 'Street Fighter 6.' The original model is also Kazuki Matsu.

In addition to fighting games, we also saw characters from the popular 2D fighting game series ``GUILTY GEAR''. The one displayed in Hall 4, 4-30-04 'Aka and Ram' is Mei, the sky pirate girl from '

GUILTY GEAR Xrd REV 2 '. It is characterized by a huge anchor that can also be used as a weapon.

The skull mark on the hat, the panel on the chest, and the messages written on the clothes have all been faithfully recreated. The armpits and upper arms are healthy and stretch smoothly. The prototype is

Yuuji .

Also, please tell me about “Aka and Ram”! Mei-chan's Robo-Mei and Mei were also on display. The prototype here is also Yuuji.

Bridget, who appeared as an additional character in '

GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE- ', was on display in 'Gai-Ten-Ki' in Hall 3, 3-12-05. Robin Ho is in charge of the prototype. Bridget fights using a yo-yo, and the idea is to recreate the impact and trajectory using translucent resin.

Although Bridget's physical gender is male, she is a popular character in ``GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE-'' whose gender identity is female after going through various changes. In his past works, his clothes were thinner, but from 'GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE-' onwards, he wears a fluffy oversized hoodie. I felt that Robin Ho's work was created in a way that perfectly expressed the baggy feel of the hoodie, while not interfering with Bridget's dynamism.
