◆WSC#117: Sayori “Glitter Battle ver.”
Sayori from “Harui Kobo” is actually the founder of the game brand “NEKO WORKs” which releases the popular beautiful girl adventure game “Nekopara”. Sayori is interested in all kinds of otaku hobbies, but she says that beautiful girl content in particular is 'by far the most outstanding.'

I wanted to create my ideal figure, so I mastered ZBrush in just one year and created this work. The character that is the motif is Kirakira from the adult game ``Donna Dona: Let's do bad things together.''

Since Sayori is also an illustrator, she says, ``I can easily translate the characteristics of illustrations drawn by others into 3D without any trouble,'' and her style is characterized by faithfully reproducing the original character designs.

Sayori said, ``Even if the general public who doesn't know this character sees it, it's cute! ``I tried to sculpt it in a way that would make people think,'' he said.

◆WSC#118: tona “Arms Fort Answerer”
The original model is Tona from 'Herb Studio'. Tona, who first learned about Wonder Festival in the summer of 2022, started making garage kits using his 3D modeling skills. The motif of the work is Arms Fort Answerer from Armored Core for Answer, an evolved version of Armored Core 2, a game that Tona was addicted to in middle school.

It is a flying fortress with multiple wings that spread out like an umbrella, and it scatters Kojima particles, which are the basis of various technologies in the work, causing Cojima pollution that has a serious negative impact on biological activities. Tona was able to grasp the overall picture by taking over 200 screenshot images and recording an hour and a half of gameplay video.

``While trying to recreate the divinity and eeriness of the original model, we tried to make it easy to make as a kit.'' While paying attention to intricate and fine details, the structure was also designed to be suitable as a garage kit. He says he is aware of it.

According to Tona, the parts that he paid particular attention to were the ``feather truss structure that resembles a tattered cloak, the series of turrets, and the eyeball-like generator.''

◆WSC#119: Yoshihina “Sanpei-kun and Mr. Fish”
A three-dimensional work by Yoshihina of Hinamori that depicts Sanpei, the main character of 'Tsurikichi Sanpei', and his partner and master, Uoshin. Yoshihina was so fascinated by Sanpei that she would draw him while she was at work, and when she got home, she would start up her PC and model Sanpei in ZBrush every day.

I decided to participate in Wonder Festival after the self-restraint due to the new coronavirus, and I sculpted Sanpei with the enthusiasm of ``In the end, whether it sells or not, I'll make it the way I like and crush it!'' This work became a hot topic on social media and sold out immediately.

A lively pose, a refreshing smile, long, supple limbs, and a straw hat with finely carved mesh.

Mr. Fish warmly watches over Sanpei-kun

Yoshihina says, ``The biggest appeal of figures is that they can be viewed and touched from various angles, and what's most fun is that they can be made to exist in three dimensions instead of two. There is nothing more wonderful than being able to present this in public with a vehicle on board.'
