Both parties, Sony, the projector manufacturer, and Deluxe, the leading provider of encrypted movies, are working to resolve the issue. 'This issue only affects a few specific Sony models,' and some have pointed out that the issue is caused by digital certificates.
It is reported that Sony withdrew from the digital cinema projector business in 2020, and all existing models of Sony's cinema projectors for theaters have been discontinued .
