Multiple reports are posted on X that Grand Theft Auto V source code and asset data has been leaked.



Multiple people posted on X (formerly Twitter) that the source code and asset data of Grand Theft Auto V (GTAV), which was hacked and leaked in 2022, has been published on some Discord servers.

The released data was stolen by hacking in September 2022. The development data for GTAVI, the sixth game in the series, was released immediately after the leak, but the data for GTAV remained in the possession of hackers and remained unreleased.

On December 24, 2023, multiple accounts posted on X that ``GTAV data is being made public on some Discord servers.'' In order to prevent the spread of the data, the name of the Discord server used for publication and the link to the GTAV data itself are not stated, but it has been disclosed that the code name of GTA 6 is 'Project Americas' .






Reporter Gaming Detective says about this leak, ``GTAVI's development may be further delayed.''




Rockstar Games, the developer of GTAV, had not made any comment on this matter at the time of writing.
