What does 'turkey bacon' taste like? I tried grilling it and eating it.

This is turkey bacon. At Costco where I bought it this time, it was sold for 1498 yen including tax.
Two vacuum packs containing 20 pieces of turkey bacon were sold together.
The label states, '80% less fat than pork bacon.'
Ingredients: turkey thigh, sugar, honey, salt, vinegar, concentrated lemon juice, celery powder, cherry powder, potassium chloride. Calories are 143kcal per 100g. The content is 567g for 40 pieces, so if you simply calculate, the calorie per piece is about 20.3 kcal.
When I opened the vacuum pack, the aroma of smoked meat wafted out.
When you take one out and look at it closely, it looks like this. Unlike regular bacon, there is no separate layer of oil and lean meat.
I will fry 3 pieces in a frying pan.
You can see how to bake turkey bacon in the movie below. When you fry regular bacon, the oil oozes out and makes a crackling sound, but turkey bacon didn't ooze much oil and was grilled relatively quietly.
This is what baked turkey bacon looks like.
When I ate it, I could feel the ``taste of meat'', ``salty taste'', and ``scent of smoked meat'' at the same time, and the seasoning was similar to that of regular bacon. It doesn't really taste like chicken, so it's more like a healthy version of the bacon flavor than an ingredient that lets you enjoy the taste of turkey. For this reason, it is not recommended for people who want to know the taste of turkey, but it is recommended for people who want to enjoy bacon in a different way than usual because it gives a strong taste of meat.
I wondered if it would become crispy if I baked it for a long time, so I tried baking it slowly over low heat.
However, it did not become crispy and had a dry texture. Turkey bacon has less fat and won't get crispy, so we recommend baking it for a short time so it stays moist.
If you try making it into bacon and eggs, you can enjoy a refreshing taste with less fat. An editorial staff member commented, ``It's hard to eat fatty foods in the morning, but turkey bacon is light and easy to eat.''
