Google's smart whiteboard 'Jamboard' is finally released, and a new movie that shows what it can do in one shot is also released - GIGAZINE

Google Jamboard, which looks like a giant tablet with a touch pen, is characterized by the fact that what you write on the whiteboard is saved as is in Google Workspace. For example, it will also be possible to send lesson content written by a teacher on Jamboard to a child's tablet. Furthermore, you can paste data directly from Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Drive onto Jamboard.

According to Google, subscriptions for licenses to use Jamboard, including those for educational institutions, will end on September 30, 2024. And on October 1, 2024, Jamboard will reach its automatic update expiration date and will no longer receive security and feature updates and customer support from Google Workspace.

Additionally, after October 1, 2024, you will no longer be able to create or edit new data in the Jamboard app, and until December 31, 2024, it will be 'only for viewing past data.' The Jamboard app will be completely terminated and all data will be deleted on December 31, 2024.

Google plans to integrate third-party whiteboard tools such as FigJam , Lucidspark , and Miro into Google Workspace in late 2023 or early 2024. In addition, the smart whiteboard itself will continue to sell the Series One Board 65 , and it will continue to be possible to collaborate with Google Meet, share content with Google Drive, and manage schedules with Google Calendar.

Google urged users to back up previously created data by December 31, 2024. It also says it will provide a way to save and migrate Jamboard data to third-party whiteboard tools so that collaborations previously created within an organization are not lost.
