The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, released in September 2023, have improved durability and reduced weight by changing the frame material from conventional stainless steel to titanium. Additionally, changing the frame from stainless steel to titanium improves the matte effect and makes fingerprints less noticeable.
On the other hand, Apple reported on its official website, ``For iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, the outer frame may temporarily discolor due to attached fingerprints.'' Foreign media 9To5Mac states, ``Using the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max without a case may cause the color of the titanium frame to change temporarily.''

If your frame becomes discolored due to fingerprints, Apple recommends 'wiping your iPhone frame with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth.' Apple does not specify the cloth used to clean the iPhone, but 9To5Mac points out that ``Apple seems to want you to use its own polishing cloth .''
