In April 2023, Netflix announced that it would end its DVD rental service, which it had continued since its founding in 1997, on September 29th.

Then, on August 21, 2023, the next month before the end of the DVD rental, it was announced that after September 29th, we will not charge for unreturned DVDs. As a result, users who rent DVDs through Netflix's DVD.com can now own the DVD as it is.

We are not charging for any unreturned discs after 9/29. Please enjoy your final shipments for as long as you like!
Netflix is also running a campaign to give away up to 10 DVDs to clear its inventory. To enter the promotion, you must visit the special link on DVD.com and apply by August 29th.

In addition, Netflix does not have a DVD rental business in Japan, so unfortunately even when accessing DVD.com from Japan, 'Page Not Found' was displayed and I could not apply.
