British Star Labs has announced Starlight 5 , a Linux tablet that can be configured with your favorite OS such as Ubuntu and elementary OS.

'Starlight 5' is a 12.5-inch tablet with an LED backlight display with a resolution of 2880 x 1920. The brightness is 300 nits, the aspect ratio is 16:10, and it supports 10-point touch.

In addition to the microSD card slot, it has two USB Type-C ports that support DP Alt mode, one micro HDMI port and one earphone jack, and supports wireless communication with WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1. The memory is 16GB 4800MHz LPDDR5, and the storage is available in three types: 512GB, 1TB, 2TB Gen3 PCIe SSD.



What makes it unique is its support for various OSs, compatible with Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, elementary OS 6.1, Linux Mint 21, Manjaro 21.3.7, MX Linux 21.1, Zorin OS 16.1, Windows 11 22H1. An additional charge is required to install Zorin OS and Windows OS.
