In addition to supporting Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, Elementary OS, Linux Mint, Manjaro, MX Linux, and Zorin OS, it is possible to select

AMI Aptio V or Coreboot as the BIOS. If you choose Coreboot, you can easily configure settings such as changing TDP and disabling clock gating using coreboot-configurator.

In addition, individual parts can be ordered and a disassembly guide is also available.

Liliputing, which handles news related to mobile devices and small PCs, told StarLite Mk IV, 'This laptop is by no means a CPU power authority, but it has a 560MB / s SSD, a backlit keyboard, a trackpad with a glass cover, and an FHD. Thanks to its display, it stands out from cheap Chromebooks and Windows laptops. ' OMG! Ubuntu !, a news media specializing in Linux, said, 'It 's a perfect device for users who are interested in PineBook Pro but don't want to rebuild their workflow for ARM processors.'

StarLite Mk IV starts at £ 400 and you can choose Japan as an export destination. However, it was said that shipment will be after January 2022.
