I went to ``Ieyasu Okazaki Taiga Drama Museum'' where you can enjoy the costumes worn by Jun Matsumoto of ``Ieyasu Tokugawa'' and the historical facts of Ieyasu Tokugawa

In conjunction with the broadcast of the historical drama 'What Ieyasu does', the ' How Ieyasu Okazaki Taiga Drama Museum ' will open from Saturday, January 21, 2023 to January 8, 2024 in Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture, where Ieyasu Tokugawa was born. It is open for a limited time (months). I came to Okazaki City after

failing the Iga-crossing reproduction challenge , so I stopped by the Taiga Drama Museum to appreciate drama costumes and learn historical facts about Ieyasu.

'What to do Ieyasu Okazaki Taiga Drama Museum' is open in Okazaki Park, where Okazaki Castle is located. If you go by public transportation, take the train to Meitetsu 'Higashiokazaki Station' or Aichi Loop Railway 'Nakaokazaki Station' and walk about 15 minutes from the station to get there.

Okazaki Park is located along Route 1.

Near the Otemon, there was a signboard appealing 'What to do Ieyasu Okazaki Taiga Drama Museum'.

At the entrance of Okazaki Park is the Otemon Gate of Okazaki Castle.

Near the Otemon gate, there was a handprint of Keiko Takeshita, who appeared in the 2006 TV series '

Junjo Kirari '.

It is like this when you put your hands together with the bill.

If you enter Okazaki Park from the Otemon Gate and go a little further, you will see the Taiga Drama Museum.

First of all, I will go to the ticket office to buy an admission ticket.

The price is like this. Since I want to enter Okazaki Castle this time, I bought a common admission ticket for 890 yen.

Get admission ticket and guide map.

With the admission ticket, proceed to the Taiga Drama Museum.

If you line up at 9:00 or 15:30, you can get a visit commemorative prize on a first-come, first-served basis. This time I visited at 10:30, but the visit commemorative prize had already been distributed. If you really want to get it, it seems necessary to line up on time.

I received a pamphlet and a gift voucher at the same time as entering. If you have a gift voucher, you can get a gift when you purchase the second ticket.

According to the information board in the hall, some of the exhibits are allowed to be photographed and some are prohibited to be photographed.

For example, the huge panel printed with Ieyasu Tokugawa played by Jun Matsumoto near the entrance is OK to shoot, but the welcome movie by Jun Matsumoto, which was screened right next to it, was not allowed to shoot.

The first corner is 'Introduction to 'How to do Ieyasu''.

Immediately after entering the corner, the armor worn by Jun Matsumoto during the filming of the drama was on display.

It is made in detail.

It's not a shiny new product, but the frayed threads that look like it's been used a little enhance the authenticity.

In addition to the armor, comments from the production staff such as Ryota Furusawa, who is in charge of the script, and Hibiki Inamoto, who is in charge of the music, are also listed.

There was also a huge person correlation chart. Since only the correlation diagram up to the part that has already been broadcast is exhibited, there is no worry of spoilers.

Along the way, a panel of Tadakatsu Honda played by Yuki Yamada was displayed.

From here, it is a corner that summarizes the historical facts related to Ieyasu.

In this corner, there are many hanging scrolls and picture scrolls on display, but photography is prohibited in most of the exhibits, except for the two armor pieces and the statue of Ieyasu.

A replica of 'Kinda Bigusoku,' which was allowed to be photographed. Kindabigusoku is said to have been given to Ieyasu by Imagawa Yoshimoto. There must be a lot of people who have been impressed with the armor that stands out in the drama.

The shin guards are also gold.

A rabbit-motif 'Pigeon Breast Thin Shallow Thread Weapon Foot' was also on display.

back. Anyway, the bunny ears stand out.

Statue of Tokugawa Ieyasu. It is a work by Kitamura Seibo, the author of '

Peace Prayer Statue '.

It looks like a smile, but it also looks a little angry.

After passing through the historical fact corner, I came to the exhibition corner of the comments of the drama performers.

There were panels of Ii Naomasa, Tokugawa Ieyasu, and Sena.

Discover the armor worn by Tadakatsu Honda in the drama. However, this armor is a duplicate and it seems that it was not actually used in the shooting.

The sword is also made in detail.

Equivalent items of accessories used in the drama were also exhibited.

Not only armor but also kimonos are displayed.

The armor worn by Yasumasa Sakakibara, played by Yosuke Sugino, at the beginning of the story.

It is said that this armor was actually used for shooting.

It's full of patches.

Yasumasa Sakakibara's banner 'nothing'.

A panel of Nobunaga Oda played by Junichi Okada was displayed near the exit. In addition, 'Photographs of Mr. Jun Matsumoto visiting Okazaki city' were also exhibited, but photography was prohibited.

``Ieyasu Okazaki Taiga Drama Museum'' will be open for a limited time from Saturday, January 21, 2023 to Monday, January 8, 2024.
