The ``Sanyo Gifu clearing plan'' to dismantle the huge building ``Solar Ark'' built by Sanyo Electric that can be seen from the Shinkansen is underway, so I have been shooting for recording before it is destroyed

In Anpachi Town, Gifu Prefecture, there is a huge structure ' Solar Ark ' built by Sanyo Electric in the 2000s. Since the Solar Ark is built along the Tokaido Shinkansen, many people must have memories of seeing it from the train window before and after Gifu-Hashima Station. I heard that the ' Sanyo Gifu Clearing Project ' to dismantle the Solar Ark was in progress, so I decided to take pictures from various angles and record it before it was dismantled.

Solar Ark is located in Anpachi-cho, Anpachi-gun, Gifu Prefecture. If you are visiting by public transportation, we recommend taking the Meihan Kintetsu Bus from Gifu-Hashima Station and getting off at Minami-Omori. In the case of a private car, it is immediately after exiting the 'Anpachi Smart Interchange' on the Meishin Expressway. However, please note that the Anpachi Smart Interchange can only be used by ETC-equipped vehicles.

Visited Solar Ark on 17th June 2023. First of all, I took a picture from the embankment near the solar arc. The Shinkansen passes in front of the Solar Ark.

I moved to the main gate. Perhaps because I visited on Saturday, I didn't hear any construction noise.

At the center of the Solar Ark, Sanyo Electric's 'SANYO' logo was displayed at the beginning of the opening, and from 2011, the 'Panasonic' logo of Panasonic, which acquired Sanyo Electric, was displayed. Now the 'Panasonic' logo has also been removed.

There were several buildings around the Solar Ark, but they had already been demolished, leaving only the Solar Ark and ground-mounted solar panels.

The Shinkansen will pass behind you while you are shooting.

If you look closely at the main gate, you will find 'Notice of closing the main gate'. I can't get any closer from the main gate side, so I aim for the north gate.

Near the main gate, there was a signboard indicating that Sanyo Electric is participating in Gifu Prefecture's road beautification activity '

Gifu Road Player '. It seems that they are working as Sanyo Electric instead of Panasonic.

On the way to the north gate, there was a strange sight of a mixture of private houses and solar arcs.

A fence surrounds the Solar Ark. In the back of the fence, a large number of ground-mounted solar panels are lined up.

Looking up at the solar arc from below, it looks like this. The inside is hollow.

Black solar panels are lined up.

There are no solar panels installed on the north side.

It looks like this when you zoom in on the north side of the solar arc.

Surrounding it were the remains of other buildings.

At the top you can see something like a handrail for maintenance.

The pillars that support the solar arc are quite thick.

I walked steadily and arrived at the north gate.

A notice posted by Sanyo Electric reads, 'You cannot enter from here.' It's coming of age.

On the fence of the north gate, there is a 'Construction Permit' and 'Worker's Accident Compensation Insurance Form'.

Looking at the permission slip, you can see that Kajima Corporation is responsible for the demolition.

The orderer was Sanyo, not Panasonic. The construction period is set from February 28, 2022 to July 31, 2024, so the Solar Ark will probably be dismantled in the near future.

Looking at the document titled 'Notice Concerning Building Demolition, etc.', I found 'Sanyo Gifu Clearing Plan' in the construction name column.

This is the result of a survey on asbestos used in buildings.

I found the logo of Kajima Corporation.

Next to the logo is the 'Sanyo Gifu Clearing Plan'.

Behind the north gate, there was an expanse of land that was becoming vacant.

From here on, I'll put together photos of the Solar Ark taken from various angles. First of all, the appearance of the solar arc that can be seen from the nearby road. The Solar Ark is wide, so you have to move far away to see it all at once.

A solar arc suddenly appears in the sky above a residential area. Private houses are lined up around the solar arc, creating a strange sight of huge buildings and private houses lined up.

It must be a familiar sight for the residents.

If it is only the edge, it looks like a graphic board installed in a PC.

paddy field and solar arc.

from a different angle.

In front of the main gate.

A solar arc that receives sunlight.

It is powerful even when viewed from the side.

Shinkansen on the left, Solar Ark on the right.

You can see how big it is compared to trees.

The part where the 'SANYO' and 'Panasonic' logos were listed was discolored whitish.
