Secret Invasion is a work in which Nick Fury tries to expose the invasion of Earth by the green-skinned alien 'Skrull' that has appeared in the MCU so far. Skrulls are also called 'shape shifters' because they have the ability to mimic (transform) at the DNA level.

Because such a Skrull appears, the opening image of Secret Invasion has a mysterious atmosphere like a watercolor painting of the main characters. As if the Skrull mimics various characters, various visuals change in the opening video in a distorted manner.


According to Ali Selim, director and executive producer at Secret Invasion, this opening video was created using AI by Method Studios , an American VFX production company.

When overseas media Polygon interviewed Mr. Selim, he said, ``It was born from the identity of the world of the shape shifter, the Skrull.Who did it? Who is this?''

Mr. Selim said about AI, ``I don't understand how it actually works,'' but commented that he was very interested in how AI could express the world of Skrull. He also says, 'You can type in ideas, themes, and words, and the AI will do something.

Polygon seems to have asked Method Studios for a comment on how AI was used to create the opening video, but he did not get a reply. However, Polygon points out that the opening video credits include the names of Method Studios producers, designers, and AI engineers.
