Ultra-compact Sony video camera 'VLOGCAM ZV-E1' thorough photo review with a full-size sensor
The VLOGCAM ZV-E1 , a camera specialized for video shooting released by Sony in April 2023, is equipped with a full-size sensor and has a compact and lightweight body, making it a highly mobile camera. Since I was able to borrow such a VLOGCAM ZV-E1 from Sony, I first thoroughly checked its appearance and grip.

The mount is E-mount, and it is equipped with a 35mm full-size back-illuminated CMOS image sensor.
Various dials and buttons are lined up at positions that can be operated with the thumb on the back. The LCD monitor is touch compatible and has 1,036,800 pixels.

When you open the cover, you will see a microphone terminal, USB Type-C terminal, SD card slot, HDMI micro terminal, and headphone terminal. Since each cover can be fixed in the open state, it is convenient when inserting various cables.
There are no buttons on the right side. The grip part is anti-slip.
A multi-interface shoe, a shooting mode switch, a shutter button, a power button, etc. are mounted on the top surface.
The bottom has a battery slot and a tripod hole. The tripod hole is vacant near the front.
