Kasa was born in 1962 and is from Fukuoka Prefecture. After working in an amateur band, he became a member of Coconut Boys (renamed to 'CCB' in 1985) formed in 1982 and made his major debut in 1983.
Their 3rd single 'Romantic doesn't stop' was released in January 1985 and was used as the theme song for the TBS drama 'Everytime Osawagase Shimasu'. Mr. Kasa is in charge of the drums, but the producer, Mr. Kyohei Tsutsumi, bought the high tone voice and is in charge of the lead vocals for this song. The song became the band's biggest hit. In addition, the highest ranking in the Oricon weekly ranking is 2nd, and CCB won the 1st place in the Oricon only with 'Naimono Nedari no I Want You' released in December 1986.
After CCB disbanded in 1989, Kasa started his solo career. In 1999, I moved to Minamiaso Village, Kumamoto Prefecture, and based my music activities in Kyushu, I sometimes got together with the members of CCB.

He also appeared in 'CCB & VoThM & Mikiya / Nomura Motor's BAND Live 2022' held in July 2022, although it was only the second half due to poor physical condition.
Although it is a part of the appearance this time, I will do my best as much as possible! I just finished the rehearsal and am grateful to be able to be with the wonderful members! ! (^O^)/ pic.twitter.com/MydYBlj1A3
