On March 28, 2002, SEGA demonstrated game software developed for 'Palm OS' for PDA. 'Triangle Magic' and 'Borkov' were used in this demo, and it seems that they could be downloaded free of charge from Sega's special site for several days after the demo.
Matt Septon, who worked as a technology evangelist at Apple, found the game. Mr. Septon found out that the URL of the website attached to the product he purchased one day referred to the above game, and although he searched for it, the special site had already been closed.
As a result of further investigation by Mr. Septon, he found over 100 'Triangle Magic' and 'Borkov' PRC files at chip.de, a German software download site.
Next, Mr. Septon seems to have succeeded in running two games using the Palm OS emulator 'Mu' and the mobile terminal ' Sony CLIÉ SJ22 ' running Palm OS.
Below is an image of Triangle Magic shared by Mr. Septon. The goal of the game is to use the stylus pen to place triangles on the squares, guide the ball to the goal, and collect coins along the way. Mr. Septon commented, 'This feels pretty familiar now. I remember some games with similar concepts.'
Borkov looks like this. Using hardware buttons or a stylus pen, the fat man at the bottom of the screen is supposed to eat chunks of chocolate in the desired shape.
In addition, Triangle Magic and Borkov can be downloaded from the fan site ' PalmDB ' where information about Palm is aggregated.
