◆iPad Pro
The new iPad Pro will come in silver...

Two space gray options are available.

The display sizes are 11 inches and 12.9 inches, and the storage sizes are 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB.

At the heart of the device is the M2 chip, which is equipped with an 8-core CPU that is up to 15% faster than the M1 chip.

10-core GPU delivers up to 35% faster graphics performance for the most demanding users

The M2 features 100GB/s unified memory bandwidth, 50% more than the M1, and supports up to 16GB of high-speed unified memory, making multitasking and working with large assets smoother.

Additionally, the combination of the CPU and GPU enables the 16-core Neural Engine to perform 15.8 trillion operations per second, 40% more than the M1.

The M2's high performance allows the iPad Pro to perform at its best even in demanding workflows, from photographers editing large photo libraries, to designers working with complex 3D objects, to medical professionals performing advanced image processing and analysis, to gamers enjoying graphics-intensive games.

The new iPad Pro also supports Wi-Fi 6E, allowing users who need high-speed connections to perform intensive tasks on the go. Download speeds (downstream speeds) are up to 2.4 Gbps, twice as fast as the previous generation, and the Wi-Fi + cellular model that supports 5G (sub-6 GHz and mmWave 4) can support even more 5G networks around the world.

Also available for the new iPad Pro, fourth-generation iPad Air, and fifth-generation iPad Air is the Magic Keyboard, which allows you to tilt the iPad display to any angle you like and includes a keyboard, trackpad, and a USB-C port with pass-through charging.

Stage Manager can run up to eight applications simultaneously on screen, and by connecting an external display you can multitask across two different sized displays.

With the new iPad Pro, creating a large number of layers in Photoshop is no problem.

Professional video production applications such as

DaVinci Resolve run smoothly thanks to the M2's hardware-accelerated encoding/decoding engine, which makes ProRes video transcoding up to three times faster.

This allows content creators to use iPad Pro to shoot, edit and publish cinema-quality video on location, which is why Apple describes iPad Pro as 'a movie studio in the palm of your hand.'

Plus, Apple Pencil is now more responsive than ever before.

The new iPad Pro detects the electromagnetic signals emitted from the tip of the Apple Pencil, which is up to 12 mm away from the screen, and the M2 chip instantly analyzes the signals to determine the position of the Apple Pencil in three dimensions. This makes it possible to more accurately determine where the pen tip is touching, allowing you to use the Apple Pencil with greater precision than ever before.

Desktop-class apps have new capabilities optimised for the iPad Pro display, making them even more capable with new elements and actions like consistent undo and redo, a redesigned inline find and replace experience, new document menus, customisable toolbars and the ability to change file extensions and see folder sizes in the Files app.

Reference Mode enables the 12.9-inch iPad Pro with Liquid Retina XDR display to meet color requirements for review, approval, color grading and compositing, workflows where color accuracy and consistent image quality are crucial. This means pros like photographers and videographers can quickly edit HDR images and videos that retain every true-to-life detail, while directors of photography on set can preview their content with a color profile that represents the final look.

At the time of writing, the new iPad Pro was available for pre-order, with the 11-inch Wi-Fi model starting at 124,800 yen (including tax), the 11-inch Wi-Fi + Cellular model starting at 148,800 yen (including tax), the 12.9-inch Wi-Fi model starting at 172,800 yen (including tax), and the 12.9-inch Wi-Fi + Cellular model starting at 196,800 yen (including tax). The Magic Keyboard is priced at 44,800 yen (including tax).

◆10th generation iPad
The 10th generation iPad is...

It will be reborn with a new all-screen design. Along with this, the charging port will also change from Lightning to a USC-C port.

The body comes in four colors: blue, pink, yellow, and silver.

The display size will increase to 10.9 inches, but the size of the device itself will remain almost the same.

The Touch ID is integrated into the top button, just like the iPad Air.

The SoC is the A14 Bionic, which has a 20% faster CPU and an 80% faster Neural Engine compared to the A13 Bionic in the 9th generation iPad.

The main camera on the back is 12 megapixels and can also shoot 4K videos.

The in-camera is from here...

It has been moved here. It seems that Apple wants to change the way users use the iPad, to 'hold it horizontally.'

Additionally, a new dedicated keyboard, the Magic Keyboard Folio, has also been released.

Full size keys have 1mm of travel.

It also has a trackpad...

You can also pinch, scroll, and swipe.

There are also 14 function keys, making it easy to adjust the display brightness and volume.

It connects to the iPad using the Smart Connector, so there is no need to charge it separately.

It comes with a stand, which is useful when playing games or watching videos.

In addition, it also supports Apple Pencil, which can detect tilt and pressure. However, it only supports the first generation Apple Pencil, and you cannot attach the Apple Pencil to the side of the iPad for storage. Also, since the first generation Apple Pencil is charged via the Lightning port, you need to use a USB-C to Apple Pencil adapter to charge the Apple Pencil on the 10th generation iPad.

Below is an image summarizing the features of the iPad.

The 10th generation iPad will be available with a Wi-Fi model starting at 68,800 yen (tax included), and a Wi-Fi + cellular model starting at 92,800 yen (tax included). There are only two storage sizes: 64GB and 256GB.
