Meta, which sells Oculus Quest 2, has long revealed that it is developing a stand-alone next-generation VR headset with eye tracking, codenamed 'Project Cambria'. In July 2022, it was reported that this next-generation VR headset was named 'Meta Quest Pro' from the code of Oculus' iOS app.

The image in question was posted on Facebook by gaming video creator Ramiro Cardenas and has also been reprinted on Reddit.

The black headset body drawn with the controller in the center of the package matches the Oculus Pro CAD data leaked in June 2022 .

Also, in the corner of the package is a sticker that says 'Not for Sale - Development Sample'.

Mr. Cardenas said about the Oculus Pro package, ``I found it left behind in the hotel room,'' and ``After that, the guests who stayed in the room requested to return the headset,'' IT news I testify to the site The Verge.

There have been several instances of unannounced hardware being leaked because it was misplaced. In 2011, an Apple employee misplaced the iPhone 4 on a bar, exposing its appearance and features before it was announced.

The Verge seems to have asked Meta about the leaked image, but it seems that Meta did not respond.
